Work Permit-in English
There are changes regarding the issuance of a work permit, both for the first work permit and for the renewal – A new form has come out edition 2025, it must be downloaded and then printed, it must be there when the bar-code is printed at the bottom.
The first working permit is free, the renewal of the working one is $520
There is online filing for work renewal, the price is low, it costs only $470, but I can’t help, I can not check who works online, which means that only those who knows by themselves and whose English is perfect can and are allowed online. Don’t ask me anything about online filing because I don’t give info on that. Maybe it is faster and cheaper for someone, but two clients have already made a mistake, so they received a printed notice for more evidence, etc. My suggestion, if it’s a bit more expensive $520 is filing on paper, but I can review it on paper, but not online!
GOOD NEWS (that’s why the working permit has become more expensive) WORK PERMIT – is NOW FOR 5 YEARS in duration, SO IT IS NOT ONLY 2 YEARS AS BEFORE.

download the form to your computer and then press print. There should be a Bar-code at the bottom of the paper when you print the papers (it should say Edition 01/20/25 at the bottom left).
The form was recently changed and now has 7 pages, only pages 1 to 4 are filled out in ink. And all 8 are printed, and all 7 pages are sent to Immigration.

How to arrange the papers FIRST WORK Permit: There are 7 pages of form i765, then immediately after the copy of the alien paper, then a copy of the fingerprint paper (the one with the stamp), then the first page of the passport and i94 at the end (if you can’t find the I94, it’s not mandatory, but if you can, put it). 2 photos of yourself with your name and surname written on them, staple them to the first flat of the form. Write your name and surname on both photos.
For renewal of the work permit, this is the order, everything is the same as for the first one, just insert a copy of the previous work permit immediately after the 7-page form, then a copy of the work permit, then a copied alien paper (you can only print the one with the stamp when renewing). Then the first page of the passport, I94 if you have it, if not, you don’t have to. Whoever renews the same goes for 2 photos, writes the name and surname, and also pays $520 to the state
Below is the address TO which to send USPS only envelope (take Priority mail red envelope recommended) . Be careful writing Your own address to include APT number (its a Must) – if You are not in house, as if you live in Unit and You do not put apt number at the very envelope – the response back might and will get lost.
